生活是一场游戏

生活就像一场游戏,在这个游戏中,你把五只球抛向空中,并喊着他们各自的名字——工作、家庭、健康、朋友和心灵。你现在正在做的就是让这五只球始终停留在空中。

你明白“工作”是只橡皮球,即使你没有接住它,它也会反弹回来。但其他四个球都是用玻璃做成的,一旦你不小心使它们其中一个落在了地上,那将会在它身上造成不可拭去的磨损、划痕、缺口,甚至是摔得粉碎,再也无法恢复到原来的样子。因此,你必须学着尽可能地平衡自己的生活。但应该如何去做呢?

不要攀比他人而妄自菲薄。每个人都是独一无二的,每个人都很特别。

不要跟随大众的价值观去设定自己的目标。只有你才知道什么最适合自己。

不要在仍有余力的时候就选择放弃。在你停止尝试之前,没有什么事会真正地失败。

不要害怕承认自己的不完美。正是这根缺憾之线使我们彼此紧紧相连。

不要在冒险面前胆怯。正因如此我们才学会勇敢面对。

不要因为找不到真爱而把它弃之门外。最快得到的爱的途径是付出爱;最快丢失爱的原因是拴紧爱;最好留住爱的方式是让爱自由。

不要忘记,一个人最大的精神需求就是感到被人赏识。

不要害怕学习。知识是没有重量的珍宝,你总能轻松携带。

不要肆意地耗费时间或是运用言辞。两者皆失不可复得。

不要因追恋过去或妄想未来而让生命从指缝间溜走。踏实地过好每一天,才能享受自己的一辈子。

不要使自己的生活节奏过快而忘记了自己身在何处,将去何方。

生活不是一场竞赛,而是一段旅途,需要慢慢享受途中的每一步。昨天是历史,明天是未知,而今天才是生命的礼物。因此我们称它为“Present ”。

  • My hot veggie soup on a cold day.
  • Writing before the sun rises.
  • Fresh, cold berries.
  • A long conversation with a friend.
  • Succumbing to a mid-afternoon nap.
  • Playing kickball in the yard with my kids.
  • The feeling of satisfaction after a workout.
  • Waking up to a clean, uncluttered living room.
  • Laughing at my 4-year-old son’s wacky sense of humor.
  • Screaming my head off when my son scores a goal.
  • Collapsing after finishing a marathon, exhausted but in love with life.
  • Spending time with my mom and sisters on a Saturday afternoon, baking sweets.
  • Letting a warm chocolate chip cookie melt in my mouth with my eyes closed.
  • A long hot shower.
  • Walking with the sand between my toes as the sun goes down.
  • Listening to the sound of waves lapping a white sand beach.
  • A hug when I need it.
  • Dew on the grass in the morning.

What is Life About?

When you grieve you can so easily concentrate on death, or dying that you can forget the purpose of life. Life and death are circular friends who dance with each other day in day out…so what is my take on life?

L= Love and to be loved

I = Inspire a legacy which you can be proud of

F= Family and friends and the human bonds that we create, share and experience together

E= Enjoy the rarest gift that we have been given life. You are given the chance to enjoy the world, life has to be about love and enjoyment

我们每天忙碌的工作 埋头蛮干 是否有想过一些问题?生命有限量,就像横尺,每个人都会有自己的尺度,我们现在游走到那个刻度,前面又剩下多少尺码,其实我们并不知,然而回头想想,小孩子不懂事时的那些理想,现在都觉得好遥远,比那消失的重点保护动物都难觅踪影。我的一个朋友,现在不到30岁,做过的工作已经不下30份。对他来说,生命就是个过程,体验不同,感受也不同,然而自己喜欢是最重要,这样才不会浪费生命,因为他知道自己想要什么,明白自己是什么,所以他活的很充实。
